Voltron: Defender of the Universe

Voltron is the name of a huge robot in a anime tv show which includes a team of space explorers. The distance explorers pilot robot lions that combine together to create the robot with which they shield their galaxy. Initially produced as a partnership between World Events Productions and Toei Animation, the initial tv series aired in syndication from September 10, 1984 . The program had been entitled Voltron: Defender of the Universe.
