Viva Laughlin

Viva Laughlin can be an American musical comedy drama series accommodated from the BBC British serial, Blackpool by Peter Bowker and Bob Lowry, also taking its name by the program's sequel,'' Viva Blackpool. Lowry and Bowker additionally served along with Paul Telegdy, John Palermo, Hugh Jackman and Gabriele Muccino as executive producers. The latter directed the pilot. It was filmed in part at the Morongo Casino Resort & Spa in Cabazon, California for most of the casino shots that were Inner. Produced by BBC Worldwide, CBS Paramount Network Television, Sony Pictures Television and Seed Productions, the show given and was greenlit that a order on May 14, 2007. Excerpts from the show were aired on June 10, 2007 throughout the CBS telecast of their 61st Annual Tony Awards in subsequent previews. CBS aired a record of the pilot on October 18, 2007 following an episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation before broadcasting its season premiere on October 21, 2007 in its regular timeslot on Sunday nights at 8:00/7:00c, following 60 Minutes. By devoting the series after airing just one episode CBS cancelled Viva Laughlin on October 22, 2007 after airing two episodes. Both CBS and Nine stuffed the show's time slot with The Amazing Race taking the location on CBS on November 4 of Viva Laughlin, with episodes of CSI. There continue to be no plans to air the remaining episodes.
