Tokyo Magnitude 8.0

Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 is a Japanese anime television series that started on Fuji TV's noitaminA time slot on July 9, 2009, at which it ended its original run on September 17. Written by Natsuko Takahashi and directed by Masaki Tachibana, it is a first show co-produced by Kinema and Bones Citrus. The 11-episode series centers around two young sisters, Mirai and Y?ki, along with only mother Mari who both meet in the aftermath of a major earthquake hitting the Japanese funding, positioned in the close future. It gained the Excellence Prize from the Animation group at Japan's Media Arts Festival at 2009. It was announced that the series was licensed for a discharge in the united states, set to be released on April 2013.
