Tilt

Tilt is a U.S. Television series set against the backdrop of the World Championship of Poker tournament in Las Vegas, and with the tagline"You're playing with Poker. They're playing you" The series aired on January 1-3, 2005, also is the original drama series from ESPN play makers. Brian Koppelman and David Levien, who co-wrote that the poker-themed feature film Rounders made it. The series title describes being"on tilt", that's poker jargon including letting frustration along with alternative emotional stress interfere with the poker-playing judgment. While that word is applicable to almost any kind of poker, only 1 kind of this match --no-limit Texas hold'em--is featured in the sequence. This was meant to capitalize on the growing popularity of no limit hold'em at the mid-2000sthat was due simply to ESPN's own policy of this annual World collection of Poker, the function upon the"World Championship of Poker" portrayed in Tilt is based. Tilt is just a nine-episode mini series and was not revived beyond that. A DVD set of the whole nine-episode run of this series has been released on June 14, 2005, approximately three weeks after"The Last Hand" conducted on ESPN.
