The Trap Door

The Trap Door is really a claymation-style animated tv series, originally shown in the United Kingdom in 1984. The storyline revolves around both the lives and also the misadventures of a group of creatures. Even though the accent was on humour and also the show was promoted as a children's programme but also for family entertainment, the show attracted much out of the genres of horror and dark fantasy. The show has become a cult favourite and remains perhaps one of the children' shows of the 1980s. Digital kids's station Pop started re running the show in 2010.
