The Philco Television Playhouse

The Philco Television Playhouse is an anthology show which was broadcast live on NBC in 1948 to 1955. Produced by Fred Coe, the show has been sponsored by Philco. It had been clearly one of the very respected shows of Television's Golden Age, winning a 1954 peabody-award and receiving eight Emmy nominations between 1956 and 1951.
