The Mummy: The Animated Series

The Mummy: The Animated Series is an animated television Show produced by Universal Animation Studios to capitalize on the success of The Mummy. It premiered on Kids' WB! On the WB network on September 29, 2001. It is placed between 1934 and 1920. The plot and characters were derived from the film, however the show could not replicate its success, efforts to make it in line with real world features were almost non-existent , for example, Lake Titicaca is described as both puma-head shaped as being found below the ruins of Macchu Picchu. The quality of the cartoon disappointed fans of this distinctive movie. It re-christened and had been retooled The Mummy: Secrets of the Medjai because of its second season, which began on February 15, 2003. Even though product quality is thought to have improved between your first and second seasons, the series did not get an audience which was cancelled on June 7, 2003. Reruns of the series aired on Toon Disney. The entire show was released on DVD in America r-1 in three amounts on July 22, 2008.
