The Mod Squad

The Mod Squad was the hugely successful groundbreaking"hippie" under cover cop show that ran on ABC from September 24, 1968, before August 23, 1973. It starred Clarence Williams III as Linc Hayes, Peggy Lipton as Julie Barnes, Michael Cole as Pete Cochren, and Tige Andrews as Captain Adam Greer. The series' producers had been Aaron Spelling and Danny Thomas. The iconic counter culture police show earned six Emmy nominations and something triumph to get Peggy Lipton, one Directors Guild of America awardwinning, along with four Logies. In 1997 the episode"Mother of Sorrow" was ranked #9-5 on television Guide's 100 Greatest Episodes of All Time.
