The Huckleberry Hound Show
The Huckleberry Hound Show is a 1958 animated series and the second from Hanna Barbera following The Ruff & Reddy Show, sponsored by Kellogg's. Three sections were included in the app. Another starring his sidekick booboo and YogiBear. And a third with Pixie and Dixie and Mr. Jinks, two mice that at each short found a new way to outwit the kitty Mr. Jinks. The YogiBear segment of the show was more popular than Huckleberry's. It spawned its own series. A segment featuring Hokey Wolf and ding a ling had been included, replacing YogiBear during the 1960--6-1 year old. Back in 1961, the show became the very first app to be rewarded with an Emmy Award. The Huckleberry Hound Show contributed to making a name that was Hanna Barbera, and it is frequently credited with legitimizing the notion of animation produced designed for television.
