The Galaxy Railways

The Galaxy Railways is a 26 episode science fiction anime series about trains placed from the far reaches of space. It's licensed by Funimation Production Ltd. and made by Leiji Matsumoto. It debuted on American television in a FUNimation Channel programming block airing on CoLours television on Monday, June 1-9, 2006, but had been replaced by Dragon Ball before programming block was dropped. The series has aired over the FUNimation Channel. 2 sequels have been produced, both now entangled in regions. A 4-part OVA series The Galaxy Railways: A Letter from the Abandoned Earth was made that bridges both seasons of the series. Back in 2006 The Galaxy Railways: cross roads into Eternity, a sequel series began broadcasting in Japan to get a 26-episode run. With all the final two, only 24 episodes were broadcast on tv, of the 26. In addition, it has been announced that on the 25-03-2009an off take of the series known as the Galaxy Railways: Faraway Angels will be released because being a Drama CD. The story follows the Mizar platoon along with his or her own adventures.
