The Colbys

The Colbys can be a American primetime soap opera, that aired on ABC in November 20, 1985 . Produced by Aaron Spelling, it was a spin-off of Dynasty, that have become the highest rated series for its 1984--1985 U.S. tv year old. The Colbys revolved around another upperclass family, who have been family members of this Carringtons of Dynasty and who owned a business. Designed to surpass its predecessor in opulence, the series' producers throw a couple of movie celebrities including Charlton Heston, Barbara Stanwyck, Katharine Ross and Ricardo Montalban, one of its own leads and were handed an funding for its age. However, that the Colbys was a ratings disappointment, and was canceled after two seasons.
