The initial development of the story revolves around a coveted martial-arts manual. The manual was handed on as an heirloom in the Lin family, who runs on the Fuwei Escort Agency located in Fuzhou. This Qingcheng Sect's first choice, yu Canghai, directs his followers to massacre that the Lins and grab the manual for himself however, will not believe it is. Yue Buqun, head of the Mount Hua Sect, one of those members of the Five Mountains Sword Sects Alliance, rescues the only survivor of the Lin family, lin Pingzhi. Yue Buqun pushes him in swordplay and takes Lin Pingzhi being students.
