Space Island One

Space Island One is. A Co Production involving the Vox station and the UK's Sky One station, it starred Judy Loe the commander of the multinational team of the space station Unity and also as Kathryn McTiernan. Described as"a mixture of Moonbase 3 and Jupiter Moon, but more turgid than , other resources describe it as "the very best science fiction series you've never heard about... The series unflinchingly looks at the implications of forprofit science... and the maximum realistic appearance at life in space, including bone-mass loss. A couple of episodes are somewhat dull, however, the series can be surprisingly weird and fun... It also features some of their most complex, believable characters of almost any tv series". Besides the show's founder, Andrew MacLear, additional script-writers for its series comprised popular TV writer P. J. Hammond, acclaimed science fiction novelist Stephen Baxter and young adult writer Andrew Lane.
