Saint Seiya The Lost Canvas

Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas -- Hades' Annals, also known as The Lost Canvas, is a manga illustrated and written by Shiori Teshirogi. It is a spin off predicated on the manga series Saint Seiya, which was created, written and illustrated by Japanese author Masami Kurumada. The Lost Canvas was printed by Akita Shoten at the Weekly Sh?nen Champion magazine as August 24, 2006, finishing after 223 chapters April 6, 2011, with twenty-five tank?bon released. Originally envisioned as a comic book whose purpose was to work simultaneously with Kurumada's Saint Seiya Next Dimension as a multi-angle interpretation of these common elements. The approach was abandoned, as both works heavily diverged, Kurumada's Next Dimension stayed as the canonical and The Lost Canvas like a different retelling. The narrative takes place at the 18th century, also focuses on how an orphan called Tenma becomes one of Athena's 88 warriors called as Saints and finds himself at a war fighting against his very best friend Alone who's shown to be the reincarnation of Athena's most important enemy, even the God Hades.
