Rock Center using Brian Williams has been an American television newsmagazine that hosted by NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams and has been broadcast by NBC. It surfaced on October 31, 2011, also aired until January 30, 2012 on Mondays. It aired on Wednesdays starting February 8, 2012. It had been produced at the Rockefeller Center's"Studio 3B"the Identical area as NBC Nightly News, also previously the Now Show. Named after the location of this NBC News headquarters in the GE Building at 30 Rockefeller Center, this program had been the brand new NBC News program to start because Now with Tom Brokaw and Katie Couric. Rock Center had shifted out of a format in to a plot format, and was created to be more serious compared to NBC's existing prime time newsmagazine, Dateline NBC, that had delved in to human interest and true crime stories. On May 10, 2012,'' NBC announced that Rock Center was taken out of the schedule for the rest of this May 2012 sweeps period because of low ratings. On May 1-3, 2012, NBC announced that Rock Center will be renewed during its 201213 upfront presentation for another season. The series has been shown on MSNBC.
