Rescue 911
Rescue 9-11 is a informational reality-based television show which stopped on August 27, 1996 and expired on April 18, 1989. William Shatner hosted the show and included re-enactments of emergency situations which frequently involved calls to 9-1-1.
Though never intended as a teaching tool, the data they obtained watching the show was used by various viewers. Two specials, also branded"100 Lives Saved" and"200 Lives Saved," were dedicated to these viewers who'd written to CBS with their stories how the information they obtained watching the show let them save the life span of someone else. At least 350 lives have been saved as a consequence of what viewers learned from watching it. The show's popularity coincided with the adoption of the 911 emergency system, replacing fire numbers and standalone authorities that will vary from municipality to municipality. The amount is currently understood in Canada and the USA are the number dialed for emergency assistance nationwide.
