Police Story

Police Story is a anthology tv crime drama. The show was the brainchild of author and former policeman Joseph Wambaugh and represented a major step of progress on network TV from the realistic depiction of violence and police work. There were also things that all episodes had actually keeping although it was an anthology. The main character in each episode was a police officer. The setting was always LosAngeles and the characters. Notwithstanding the anthology arrangement, there were recurring characters. Scott Brady appeared in more than a dozen episodes as"Vinnie," a former cop that, upon retirementhad opened a bar catering to police officers, and that acted as a kind of Greek chorus during the run of this series, commenting on the plots and characters.
