Ghost 2040 is just a animated science fiction television series based on the comic strip hero The Phantom, created by Lee Falk. The central nature of the series is said to be the 24th Phantom. The odd character designs are the work of Peter Chung. The show culminated in 1994 to rave reviews, though it survived just 3-5 episodes until it was sentenced to weekend repeats in 1996.
