On the Buses

On the Buses is a British comedy series and Ronald Chesney, broadcast by 1969 to 1973 in the Great Britain. The writers' previous successes with meet up with the Wife and The Rag Trade were all for the BBC, however the corporation rejected About the Buses, not seeing much humor potential. The humor partnership turned to a buddy, Frank Muir, Head of Entertainment at London Weekend Television, that adored the concept. The show was accepted and with audiences became a hit despite having a poor critical reception.
