Monkey Turn

Kenji Hatano required to be considered a superstar, but didn't like one player's mistake can hurt the whole team. Upon being exhibited a kyotei (hydroboat) race by his Primary and seeing with a special turn identified as a Monkey twist, he decides to try it out. After capsizing due to a Monkey Turn gone wrong, Kenji makes the decision to be a Kyotei racer. 2 years after, he graduates by the Yamato Training School and maintains his friend Sumi Ubukata he'll eventually become Japan's No. 1 Kyotei racer over three years.
