Mission Hill

Mission Hill is an American animated television series that ran in September 24, 1999 on The WB, to July 16, 2000, also on Adult Swim from July 14 to August 11, 2002. Just 13 episodes were produced, although 18 episodes were proposed. The show was put on hiatus by the WB Network after two episodes as a result of poor ratings. It returned at the summer of 2000 to the WB but was canceled after four episodes that were other. The show went on to create a cult following, thanks to repeated airings of all 13 episodes on Teletoon's"Teletoon Unleashed" cube, Cartoon Network's popular late night programing block, Adult Swim and Too Funny To Sleep, a night time programing block TBS. Even though a name change was forced by MTV's production of the similarly branded Down Town, mission Hill was called The Downtowners. It has also been widely popular outside of the United States and Canada, receiving broadcasts in Spain, Eastern Europe, Latin America, Australia and New Zealand. Stylistically, the series is more famous because of its glowing vibrant blue color palette, and has a strange mixture of modern cartoon and conventional"cartoonish" drawings.
