McDuff, the Talking Dog
The Talking Dog turned into a Saturday morning live action tv program that aired on NBC in 1976. The show centered around the phantom of a 100-year-old sheepdog who used to dwell at your home today owned by a veterinarian, Dr. Calvin Campbell. McDuff could talk not just to the other animals, but also to Dr. Campbell. But, Dr. Campbell was not the one person who may hear or see McDuff, which often resulted in wacky scenarios.
Dr. Campbell's neighbor, Amos Ferguson, was played with Gordon Jump, who'd go on to WKRP in Cincinnati fame.
