Marimar

Marimar is an unhealthy innocent girl who lives with her grand parents at a hut on the shore by the sea. She falls deeply in love with Sergio, wealthy farmer Renato Santiago's son. Sergio agrees to wed Marimar regardless of the disapproval of the dad and stepmother however along the way he falls deeply in love with her. Marimar is just a television telenovela that was broadcast on Televisa in 1994. Marimar is a remake of the telenovela La Venganza, which aired in both 1977 on Televisa and starred Enrique Lizalde along with Helena Rojo.
