Le Chevalier D'Eon

Le Chevalier D'Eon can be a 24-episode anime television series produced by Production I.G based on a unique story by Tow Ubukata. The anime originally aired in Japan on WOWOW from August 1 9, 2006 to February 2, 2007. The narrative was adapted into a manga series compiled by Tow Ubukata and illustrated by Kiriko Yumeji, which had been first published in 2005. The titular character is based on the historical figure Chevalier d'Eon, that lived in the middle pre-Revolutionary France, of 18th century under the reign of Louis XV. Le Chevalier D'Eon was licensed on the North American market by ADV Films, however it turned into one of fifty names moved into Funimation Entertainment in 2008 from ADV.
