Lady Blue

Lady Blue is actually just a crime drama starring Jamie Rose as a Chicago homicide detective Katy Mahoney that is female. The series had been made by MGM/UA Television and aired in September 26, 1985. This had been cancelled after low ratings on its own Thursday night slot after one season, but because it was considered too violent for the time. The series aired on Saturday nights but the series failed there too. It ranked 72nd out of 82 programs that season, also averaged a 10.7 household score. It had been stated that Katy Mahoney was the female edition of Harry Callahan aka Dirty Harry, prompting tv critics to consult with Mahoney's character as"Dirty Harriet".
