Knightmare

Knightmare is a British television program for children and has been broadcast on CITV from 7 September 1987 to 11 November 1994. An experience game show, Knightmare calls for a group of four kids -- one taking the role of the sightless dungeoneer, and also the rest three behaving as their guide -- traversing a medieval environment as they attempt to finish a quest and exit the dungeon, with their wits to overcome puzzles, obstacles along with the strange characters they meet along the journey. The show is most noted for the usage of screen chromakey and application of'virtual reality' gameplay television. Broadcast to figures throughout its series, it has gained a cult status amongst its fans since its final tv event in 1994. It was revived for a one off special from YouTube at August 2013.
