The Moon has been destroyed in a cataclysm that smashed the former satellite of Earth to 81 quintillion tons of orbital debris. But, thanks to super-science itself was stored and today no one really believes about that century-past disaster. That will be why when the Idolmaster Project was called by Haruka Amami auditions for some thing, she THINKS she's trying out for a singing idol. As an alternative, Haruka finds herself coping with a set of other girls who have already been selected to pilot as applicants an iDOL - an enhanced robot specifically designed to intercept chunks of moon rock. Except aren't exactly knights in shining armor. And then there's the problem of whether the iDOLs are actually JUST robots. Because from the very first time, Haruka starts to feel emotions resonating from over the iDOL named Imber.
