He-Man and the Masters of the Universe

The Masters of the Universe along with He Man is an American animated television series. Developed for television by Michael Halperin, that generated the original show, it had been animated by Mike Young Productions. It served as an upgrade of this 1980s series of the same name, produced to match Mattel's revival of the Masters of the Universe franchise eleven years after its previous effort. The show made its premiere on Cartoon Network's Toonami on August 16, 2002. Unlike the previous he man series, place on the futuristic planet of Primus, this version sought to return to the roots of this narrative and provide wider explorations never reached from the first show, including origins for every personality, plus some first time animated debuts of recognizable toyline faces. The series attracted back several writers by the original show, such as Larry DiTillio. The remake is known for its many similarities it shares with all the original. As an example, it has an homage intro into the 1980s variant's intro address but in this variant, Prince Adam is disrupted by an explosion and invasion by Skeletor and his henchmen. Prince Adam transforms into he man if he says"By the power of Grayskull... I have the power" . In addition, it features"scene shift" sequences, but the main one between the Sword of Power was removed from the Filmation series. All the others were created with this particular series, and the strings occur than on the series.
