Hannay

Hannay was a 1988 spin-off from the 1978 film version of John Buchan's novel . Powell reprised Hannay, an Edwardian mining engineer's role from Rhodesia of Scottish origin. It comprises his adventures. Even though some personality names are removed from his other novels these stories had little in common with the novels of John Buchan about the personality. You will find two series, the first with six episodes, the second with seven. The 1-3 episodes ran for a total of 652 minutes. 1 incident, a spot of Honour, was based on a story of the exact identical name. Yet another incident used a plot device from the Leslie Charteris Saint story The Unblemished Bootlegger, by the 1933 book The Brighter Buccaneer uncredited.
