GameCenter CX
GameCenter CX, also known as retro-game Master in different regions, is a Western television series by which Shinya Arino, a member of humor duo Yoiko, plays Japan's most popular video games and records his progress as he works through a time limit, usually lasting around one day. He's encouraged by his Assistant Staff and Managers, both via actual game play and support. In addition, he gets the chance to interview game designers and to play with arcade games sporadically.
There are 9 DVD sets published in Japan. The 9th DVD collection was launched in Japan on December 21, 2012. The show has been on air since November 4, 2003 with a brand new episode every 14 days when a season is running. In 2008 Fuji television looked for international vendors for subtitled DVDs. A picture is intended for this show's 10th year anniversary. A third game that'll be published in the Nintendo 3DS stage has been announced.
