French Fields
French Fields is really just a British situation comedy. It ran to 8 19 episodes from 5 September 1989 October 1991. It was written by John T. Chapman and Ian Davidson and was produced by Thames Television for ITV.
The series starred Anton Rodgers and Julia McKenzie as husband and husband William and Hester Fields and followed closely series Fresh Fields that ran from 7 March 1984 on 23 October 1986. Using a firm that was French, William accepted a position at the finish of the string of Fresh Fields. After the move is made by them into Calais french Fields follows William and Hester.
Regular cast included their French real estate agent Chantal, that was also the Fields' neighbour to the leftwing. On the best, were English couple and both the horrible the Trendles. Hester and William additionally dealt with ancient woman who lived in and cared for the estate called Les Hirondelles -- by which they lived, an unintelligible and Madame Remoleux. Also, popping in on a normal basis, were farmer and mayor Monsieur Dax and his daughter Marie-Christineto whom Hester did her best to teach English. The Marquis was also looked while by nicholas Courtney.
