Follyfoot

Follyfoot is the independent German company and a kids' television set co-produced by the British television company Yorkshire Television that is majority-partner TV Munich. It aired in the United Kingdom between 1973 and 1971, lasted for two years and in the 1980s. The show starred Gillian Blake at the lead character. Notable individuals Associated together with all the show were actors Desmond Llewelyn and Arthur English and directors Jack Cardiff, Stephen Frears, Michael Apted and David Hemmings. It was initially inspired by Monica Dickens' 1963 Cobbler's Dream. She later wrote Stranger at Follyfoot -- Follyfoot in 1971, Dora at Follyfoot in 1972, The Horses of Follyfoot in 1975, also four further novels in conjunction with the show in 1976.
