Felix the Cat

Felix the Cat is the very first tv show containing the famed cartoon character Felix the Cat. In 1954 Otto Messmer retired by the Felix daily newspaper strips, along with also his assistant Joe Oriolo shot over. A bargain struck with the brand new owner of Felix to begin a set of Felix animations. Oriolo went on to celebrity Felix in 260 tv animations. Much like the Van Beuren studio earlier, Oriolo gave Felix a more domesticated and pedestrian personality, geared more toward kids, also introduced now-familiar elements like Felix's"Magic Bag of Tricks", a satchel which will assume that the shape and characteristics of whatever Felix wanted.
