Eyes on the Prize

Eyes on the Prize is Really a documentary series about the Africanamerican Civil Rights Movement. The series was manufactured in two stages: Eyes on the Prize: America's Civil Rights Years 1954--1964 contains their initial six episodes since the time frame between the Brown v. Board decision and the Selma to Montgomery marches. It had been broadcast in 1987. The rest of the 8 episodes constitute Eyes on the Prize II: America at the Racial Crossroads 1965--1985, that was broadcast on PBS in 1990. The series was shown in the United Kingdom. Created and executive-produced by Henry Hampton at Blackside, Inc., the series employs primary sources to record the increase of the civil rights movement in the USA, with special focus on the average people who effected the change. It used in schools and other settings as a way to communicate the adventures and fight for civil rights in the usa, and has been famous for the depiction of the Civil Rights Movement. The title of the series is derived from the song"Keep Your Eyes on the Prize", that will be employed in each installment while the opening theme music.
