Evening Shade
Day Shade is an American sitcom tv show that aired on CBS from 1990 to 1994. The show stars Burt Reynolds as Wood Newton, an ex-professional football player for the Pittsburgh Steelers, who contributes to rural Evening Shade, Arkansas to coach a high school football team using a losing streak. Reynolds asked to make utilize of the Steelers because his former team because he is actually just a fan.
The show's typical theme is that the allure of small town life. Episodes ended with a closing narration from Ossie Davis summing the events of this incident, always closing with"... in a place named Evening Shade." The show's final episode saw the guest appearances of Willie Nelson and Buzz Aldrin as escaped convicts on the run by the police being truly a spectacular shoot out reminiscent of this scene of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
The launching segment comprised clips from around Arkansas, including the famous McClard's Bar-be-que, that will be situated on Albert Pike Blvd. and South Patterson St. in Hot Springs National Park.
