Edgemont
Edgemont is a Canadian tv series that aired in 2001 to 2005. It revolved around teenagers' regular deals in Edgemont.
The show delved in the lives of students at McKinley High School. The plots comprised jealousy, intrigue, romance, and all the other elements associated with secondary school landscape and the teen. They explored various social problems, such as racism and homosexuality.
Edgemont debuted January 4, 2001, on CBC Television, and aired its final episode on July 21, 2005. There were a total of 70 episodes during its five-season run. The fifth season was first exhibited. Ian Weir, who also served as executive producer and Michael Chechik created the series. It had been shot at the basement of the CBC Studios in Downtown Vancouver.
The app became successful in Canada, including Quebec where the series was dubbed in French, and also aired in the United States on the Fox Family Channel. Now re-runs atmosphere in the U.S. on several local channels, and it airs Sunday mornings on MeTV, as part of this network's E/I-mandated programming. In addition, it aired in several other nations.
