Citizen Smith

Citizen Smith is a television sit com. The show was compiled by John Sullivan, who wrote Only Fools and Horses. The pilot has been sent on 12 from one-off plays' Comedy Particular series, and also the series proper ran to 31 December 1980. Citizen Smith starred Robert Lindsay as"Wolfie" Smith, a Marxist"urban guerrilla" surviving in Tooting, South London, who's attempting to conceal his hero Che Guevara. 'Wolfie' is a reference to the Irish radical Wolfe Tone who used the pseudonym Citizen Smith as a way to evade capture by the English. Wolfie is your self-proclaimed leader of this radical Tooting Popular Front, the goals which are"Power to the People" and"Freedom to Tooting". In fact, he is definitely an unemployed dreamer and criminal whose aims fall through due to laziness and disorganisation.
