Chilly Beach
Chilly Beach was a Canadian animated series, which aired on The Comedy Channel in Australia and CBC Television in Canada. The show is still really actually a comedic depiction of life from the literary Canadian town of Chilly Beach, described by the producers as"a whole lot of Canadians doing the things Canadians do, like playing baseball, drinking beer, and getting eaten by polar bears." Chilly Beach plays on nearly every imaginable stereotype that people have about Canadians in a way.
The series began online as a animated Flash site, which was developed to a CBC TV series that aired in 2003. The series was cancelled throughout this season, that aired or was never broadcast on television - with the series totalling 65 episodes' creation. An early variant of this Chilly Beach feature film, The World Is Hot Enough, made its theatrical debut in September 2005, and released to DVD on February 4, 2008. The Canadian President, A film was also born.
Guest celebrities on the series have included Lawrence Gowan, Joe Flaherty, Leslie Nielsen, Elvis Stojko, William Shatner along with David Suzuki. The series was created in Sudbury, Ontario from March Entertainment. In 2011the show found in the U.S. on the streaming video website Hulu.
