Brigadoon: Marin & Melan

BRIGADOON: marin & ????? is a science fiction anime which conducted from 2000 to 2001, made by the Sunrise company, and was adapted as a manga by Nozomi Watase. Its story takes place in Japan in 1969. It's about an orphan girl named Marin Asagi who befriends an alien. Brigadoon has been led by Yoshitomo Yonetani and the figures were made. The show's setting in Yayoi, Tokyo was based that art director Takashi Nakamura and director Yonetani formerly dwelt in. Color is just a recurring theme in the show. Most if not all of the episodes have a color in the title, and everyone in the cast is named after a color in 1 manner or another. The rainbow is an image that is important.
