Believe Nothing

Believe Nothing is an ITV sitcom starring the man in Britain Rik Mayall as Quadruple Professor Adonis Cnut, and Oxford's leading philosopher. He is paid tremendous sums of money because of his perspectives but he is tired and wants experience so he unites the shadowy company The Council which controls everything going on in the whole world. Starring along with Mayall is Michael Maloney as Brian Albumen, Cnut's faithful slave, and Emily Bruni as Dr. Hannah Awkward who becomes professor of pedantics. The show was published by Maurice Gran and Laurence Marks, who offer a spin to a number of today's global difficulties. Although much-hyped by ITV, who hoped to repeat the achievements of Gran and Marks' previous project with Mayall, the more successful the string, The New Statesman did not grab on, also was shed after a set.
