AfterMASH
AfterMASH is definitely an American situation comedy that aired on CBS in September 26, 1983. A spin off of the show M*A*S*H, the show chronicles the experiences of three characters from the original series: Klinger Colonel Potter and Father Mulcahy and also takes place right after the end of the War. They were combined by M * A * S * H supporting cast-member Kellye Nakahara off-camera, as the voice of the public address system of their hospital. Rosalind Chao piled out the starring cast as Soon-Lee Klinger, also a Korean refugee that Klinger met, fell in love with and married within the M*A*S*H series finale"Goodbye, Farewell and Amen."
AfterMASH premiered at the autumn of 1983 at exactly the exact same Monday night 9:00 P.M. EST. time slot as its predecessor M*A*S*H. It finished 10th from all network shows according to Nielsen Media Research television ratings. For its next season CBS moved the show to Tuesday nights at 8:00 EST., opposite NBC's top ten hit on A-Team, and launched a marketing effort containing examples by Sanford Kossin of Max Klinger at a nurse's uniform, shaving off Mr. T trademark mohawk, theorizing that AfterMASH could have a huge part of The a team's audience. The idea was proven wrong. While The A-Team continued together with 97 episodes, the show was canceled nine episodes into its next season and as AfterMASH's ratings plummeted to close the underside of the tv screen positions, in fact, the opposite happened.
