The Westerner

Drifter Cole Harden is accused of stealing a horse and confronts hanging by self-appointed Judge Roy Bean, however, Harden manages to talk his way from this by claiming for a friend of stage celebrity Lillie Langtry, together with whom the judge is obsessed, although he has never met her. When Harden regards the defense of friends of struggling homesteaders who Judge Bean is trying to drive 22, tensions increase.
