The Saint Bernard Syndicate

The film is a comedy about Rasmus and Frederik, two Danish men in their 30s, who venture out on a business venture. They understand each other and none of them have really been successful in life so far. They meet, 15 years later, both keen to prepare a dog breeding center. The two spouses discovered that so called luxury dogs are popular with the Chinese class and so anticipate this to be their way into overwhelming and fast wealth in China. A200 plus pound St. Bernard dog by the name of Dollar travels with them to Chongqing. They match with the cryptic Mr. Liu who possesses the biggest bakery in Western China and who thinks that dogs are as successful as humans. As the friendship between the two Danes grows stronger the dog grows in unexpected manners.
