The Mighty Quinn

Xavier Quinn, the police chief, is investigating the gruesome murder of Donald Pater, one of the wealthiest residents on a Caribbean island. He was discovered beheaded in his Jacuzzi. Despite the fact that the local political establishment, particularly crooked Governor Chalk, insists that small-time thief Maubee is to blame, Xavier has his doubts. The police chief's personal history with Maubee complicates this viewpoint: The men have known each other since they were children.
