Once Fantaghiro's father is captured by the Black Queen disgusted with their own deep love Romualdo and fantaghiro are now preparing their union. Romualdo and his soldiers move in their travel to free him. But the insidious Black Queen catches the remainder of his army and transforms herself into Fantaghiro, makes by kissing him Romualdo her servant. Fantaghiro follows Romualdo although she discovers that the camp left promised him to stay home and enters the castle of the Black Queen. When she wants a duel to free her people she is very amazed to manage Romualdo who has forgot her as a result of magic of the Black Queen.
