Lullaby of Broadway
Pretty Melinda Howard was singing abroad. She intends to surprise her mother, whom she thinks is a Broadway star with a Manhattan mansion. She doesn't know her mother is a whiskey-loving cabaret performer. When she arrives, two of her mother's servants take her in. Adolph Hubbell, a kind-hearted Broadway producer, owns the house. Hubbell casts Melinda in his next performance. Melinda falls for a show hoofer. Melinda is doing well, but her mother keeps delaying their reunion.
