Leaving Afghanistan

1988-1989. The Soviet-Afghan war's end. The USSR begins its withdrawal from Afghanistan. Soviet General Vasiliev's child - a pilot called the mujahideen kidnapped Alexander after his air plane crashes. As a result the 108th infantry division's long anticipated return home gets placed on hold for a last mission: bring the son of the General backagain.
