Faraway, So Close!

The film opens with all the angel Cassiel (Otto Sander) sitting on the statue of the Angel of Victory overlooking post-Cold War Berlin. Growing more miserable over his fate as only observer of human existence, as opposed to a crucial part of it, Cassiel dreams of"crossing over" to the individual world.And he can, as Karl Engel, a guy who perhaps knows a great deal, perhaps like at many of Hitchcock's films, a few harmless citizen who has involved in an affair to which he is not up to. Actually, there isn't any one as kind and harmless as this newborn citizen of the Earth.We will follow Cassiels's experiences to some"thriller." This story that gets caked with his life is about weapons, more just of a weapon deal where the weapons - or INSTRUMENTS of violence are exchanged for IMAGES of violence.
