Banzaï

Michel works there manically solving people's problems. He is about to tie the knot with his girl friend Isabelle, an airline hostess. She flies all around the world, he wants to leave the workplace. A collection of madcap accidents involving injury or theft (because you would expect in his line of work) ensues after Michel promises Isabelle nothing can postpone their marriage and she promises subsequently that she's done flying. It becomes and assumption are forced into escalating white lies to keep the look of keeping their sentence once this improbable promise is made. Their plight mounts since Isabelle is made to do a couple more flights, even while Michel is made to go to nyc, Tunisia, and finally Hong Kong, where they are finally reunited at the throes of a contrived and hilarious drug deal involving a 747, water cab chases, and fighting styles.
