Inspired by events that took place in Muriel, Delphine and Massachusetts Coulin introduction centers on a group of exhausted adolescent girls who all make an irrevocable pact. If Camille (Louise Grinberg) accidentally becomes pregnant, she also motivates her buddies and fellow high school classmates to follow suit. It's only a question of time, the town is thrown into a world of chaos and also until 17 girls in the senior school are pregnant. Set in the writer/directors' little, beachfront hometown of Lorient 17 Girls is a manifestation on friendship, body image, adolescence and also the realities of growing up.
